Zaman dahulu, momok yang sering ditakutkan oleh para siswa atau penerima didik yaitu materi tata bahasa ata grammar. Namun sekarang, grammar tidak terlalu ditekankan. Materi Bahasa Inggris kini lebih ditekankan pada aspek pragmatik lebih dari aspek teoritis.
Untuk sanggup memperoleh hasil yang maksimal dalam mengerjakan ujian final semester mapel Bahasa Inggris tentu saja dibutuhkan persiapan yang baik dan matang. Para penerima didik harus mempelajari kembali materi dari awal hingga akhir. Untuk materi hingga dengan ulangan harian III, para penerima didik hanya perlu menyegarkan ingatan kembali. Dengan demikian, mestinya beban berguru untuk menghadapi UAS ini tidak terlalu berat mengingat para penerima didik hanya perlu berguru materi yang benar-benar-benar gres pada materi yang telah diajarkan pada ulangan harian III.
